DAY 01
Kick-Off Ceremony & System Setup
Welcome note, rules explained, mentor introductions, and quick system setup (GitHub, VS-Code, etc.).
Hacking Sprint I
Brainstorm, prototype, and build! Mentors provide support during Sprint I to guide teams in the right direction.
Tech Ember Solutions - Student Session
Exclusive session with Tech Ember Solutions. Learn industry insights and best practices from experienced professionals.
Lunch Break
Refuel and network with fellow participants and mentors. Build connections that last beyond the hackathon.
Hacking Sprint II
Stretch to refine ideas, prepare submission and demos. Focus on implementation and user experience design.
Checkpoint
Submit your prototype or mockup for review. Get valuable feedback from mentors and judges.
Dinner
Enjoy a hearty dinner and discuss your progress with other teams. Share ideas and collaborate.

Code Freeze & Submission
All projects must be submitted (GitHub + description + short demo). Teams get ready for showcase and final presentations.
Project Evaluation
Judges circulate and evaluate projects. Shortlisted teams deliver a 3-minute live demo followed by 2-minute Q&A session.
Awards & Closing Ceremony
Judges announce winners and special prizes. Closing thanks, group photo, and networking wrap-up. Celebrate your achievements!

Everything you need to know about HACKSETU 1.0
Q: What is the registration process and fee structure?
A: HACKSETU 1.0 has a 2-round selection process: • Round 1: Submit your innovative idea via PPT (completely FREE) • Teams are shortlisted based on creativity and feasibility • Round 2: Selected teams participate in 24-hour on-campus hackathon • Round 2 fee: ₹1000 per team (includes accommodation + all facilities) Start free with Round 1, pay only if selected for the exciting finale!
Q: What should I include in my Round 1 PPT submission?
A: Your PPT should clearly present your innovative idea with problem statement, proposed solution, target audience, feasibility analysis, and potential impact. Focus on creativity and practical implementation. Keep it concise but comprehensive - quality over quantity!
Q: When will Round 1 results be announced?
A: PPT submissions will be evaluated based on creativity, feasibility, and impact. Selected teams will be notified within 1-2 weeks after the submission deadline. Shortlisted teams will then proceed to the exciting 24-hour on-campus hackathon!
Q: How many members can be in a team?
A: Teams can have 2-4 members. You can register individually and we'll help you find teammates, or you can register as a complete team.
Q: What should I bring to the hackathon?
A: Bring your laptop, chargers, any development tools you prefer, and your creativity! We'll provide food, WiFi, workspace, and all the energy drinks you need.
Q: Do I need to have a project idea beforehand?
A: Yes! HACKSETU 1.0 follows an open innovation format. You can work on any innovative idea or problem you're passionate about solving. Come prepared with your creative concepts for Round 1 PPT submission, or brainstorm fresh ideas - the choice is yours!
Q: What technologies can we use?
A: You can use any programming language, framework, or technology stack. Whether it's web development, mobile apps, AI/ML, blockchain, or IoT - all are welcome!
Q: Will there be mentors available during the event?
A: Yes! Industry experts and experienced developers will be available throughout the 24 hours to guide you, answer questions, and help you overcome technical challenges.
Q: What are the judging criteria?
A: Projects will be judged on innovation, technical implementation, problem-solving approach, presentation, and potential real-world impact.
Q: Is accommodation provided for Round 2?
A: Yes! For teams selected to Round 2, the ₹1000 per team fee includes complete accommodation facilities for the entire 24-hour hackathon duration. This covers your stay, access to the hackathon arena, workshops, mentoring sessions, and networking opportunities.
